I'm a psychiatrist. Not a bad. You've done your research. Kudos.

Dear Andy,

First and foremost, allow me to congratulate you on your efforts. Your website, products and blog are very important in this day and age and i hope you realise that. I hope you do not get discouraged by the general lack of communication between the community members since that takes time and trust. I for one, being a technologist am aware that freedom of speech and anonymity of speech are two different things. I support the latter as it is more comprehenisive.

I wanted to make a suggestion for the blog. I was wondering if you could use the categorising option when posting blogs. Breaking them into distinct subjects may aid the reader and maybe stimulate contribution since some might be interested in one aspect of entheogens and not the other. For example, you could have a category on growing and caring for plants, another may be ethical or opinion surrounding enth. Maybe even categories on shamanic practices. Scientific articles could be a category of their own. another one could be user feedback on entheogens used and so on.

This however would raise the question of whether you'd want to do all the supplying of such information or would you allow others to contribute.

I think this is enough for now since it is my first post.

Keep up the good work.

Peace and blessings,
SS

Hey Andy, my favorite saying is "Don't sweat the petty things, just pet the sweaty things" Sometimes it is hard to be an EARTH person when our society doesn't tend to what they are walking on....but take some comfort there are those of us out there who are BORN with certain gifts and appreciation for what it is we were so lucky to be given.....((((YOU ARE INCREDIBLY BLESSED)))) And it is very cool that you are WILLING to go above and beyond to share your gift(s) with US. Thank~you for allowing me to learn from you!!!
Your friend *~Kris~*

makes a whole lot more sense than a high dose of lithium, and an all nighter in the rubber room. I don't know how it is in Illinois but on the east coast Manic depression is becoming the new ADD and lithium the new rhidalin, never mind that it kills your kidneys.

This is not real shamanism, this is modern day puke. I have the cure for Bipolar disease and its not more chemicals. We already have enough of that in our bodies just from the air we breathe and the food we eat. I use to be severely Bipolar, Manic Depressive, and scytsophrenic but now I am completely cured. These are diseases unheard of in any other time. The cure is to stop eating food from all these companies who rip people off by putting fake ingredients into food instead of using real food, leaving everyone malnourished and highly toxic. That's one of the biggest things. To only eat organic food or better yet only eat food you grow yourself. Another thing is the fact that peoples brains are telling them that something is wrong, but they don't know what it is. They should be depressed because of the lifestyle that we live, but people don't know that because they were born into this life style and they don't know of any other way.

Will any of this get to the general world, doubtful, hey man I hate to bring politics into anything, but you being a like minded individual from Illinois how do you feel about Obama???

thanks for having the courage to post this. i suffer from type 2 bipolar and it's a relief to read about alternative approaches. i use western treatments out of utter necessity, but am always hopeful of other treatments that actually help and work.

Trying to deal with this horrendous cycle of being on the medication and getting off the medications is the biggest challenge that bipolar individuals and their families have to deal with on a daily basis.
