Yet again nature is to be declared illegitimate as another sacred plant ally, Salvia divinorum, is poised to be lost due to the misguided efforts of lawmakers in the state of Illinois. An amendment to declare Salvia divinorum a schedule 1 controlled substance, has made its way through both the house and senate, and it's just a matter of a signature from the governor to add Illinois to the the roster of states that have imposed draconian measures against this misunderstood plant entheogen.
We aren't certain exactly how the lawmakers have come to view Salvia as a material of such public danger and potential abuse. It seems most have signed onto the bill simply because such reflexive "war on drugs" rhetoric is the easy choice. Few have ventured to ask the difficult questions of how and why such sacramental, visionary compounds can be integrated into a healthy society. Such territory remains verboten, and this complete lack of insight and courage are appalling and disgraceful.
We're deeply saddened by this news. Having cultivated this marvelous plant for over 15 years, the loss is almost unimaginable. We are heartened though, that during this time we were able to propagate and disseminate thousands of clones, which will happily resides in homes throughout the states. Despite efforts of lawmakers, Salvia divinorum will live on, just as nature's intended.
It doesn't matter what the law says because we don't have any rights. The United States is LEGALLY a corporation. Not a country. And the "United States" LEGALLY is OWNED by Great Britain.
The Federal Reserve System, IRS, FBI, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearm, etc, are not parts of the government! People only THINK they are because that's what we're taught to believe.
Our entire system, and by "our" I mean people in the United States, is so totally corrupt and lost and the saddest part is that hardly anyone realizes it.
The federal reserve system prints money and puts it into circulation with interest to the people of the U.S. In other words, there is no possible way for us to get out of debt! (Unless the WHOLE system was overthrown!)
Oh, and LEGALLY (yes check this out if you don't believe me) the rights granted to us by the Bill of Rights only apply to the federal government (and maybe state gov't too, I can't remember), NOT INDIVIDUALS. By the letter of the law we do not have those rights. By the letter of the law we are quite literally OWNED by the corporation of the United States of America! All of our posessions, CHILDREN, etc are not ours!
I know it sounds shocking and hard to believe, but it's all in the law. And when it comes to people in suits banning naturally occuring PLANTS, I can't help but laugh. Freedom is a state of mind, nothing else. Pot's been illegal my whole life yet I get high every day. :)
Remember that nobody controls your life but you and God. Peace, blessings and love for you all.

Salvia is being used and abused but does it carry any risk? It’s certainly not a social party drug. Crackheads are not switching to salvia. Heavy drinkers are not switching to salvia. It’s not that type of drug.’
Make no mistake, SALVIA is not a recreational drug
