How's The Basement Shaman Doing?

We'd like to hear from you. All the people that have made it possible for us to exist and evolve over the past decade. We welcome all input without bias, be it negative or positive. Share your experiences of our service, our products, and the directions we've explored. Give us your ideas, critiques, rants and raves.

We strive to be a conscious business, that acts ethically and responsibly on both a person to person and planetary level. We know that we're far from perfect, but we're willing students to strive for better. We'll do our best to help you on your path, and we ask that you help us too.

Happiness,
Andy @ The Basement ShamanBasementshaman_1943_12529787_2

I recently had a shipment of Sacred Tobacco held by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service, destined to be destroyed unless I paid (twice the purchase price) for it to be heat treated, or provided details of the manufacturing process in order that AQIS could determine whether it met their stringent requirements. Andy was helpful above and beyond the requirements of a retailer, and forwarded the relevant documents to AQIS. Despite many unreturned calls, my package finally arrived last week (with no explanation from AQUIS). Hopefully any such further hassles will be avoided by Australians ordering from Basement Shaman. Thanks Andy for your exceptional post purchase service!

Well, I am very glad that Andy has more profitable customers than I am. I may at best be an occassional purchaser, but I love the site, the products I have purchased, and the information the Basement Shaman provides. Besides, Andy seems a really nice person, and good people deserve to succeed doing what they love to do. Hats off to you!

I have been a customer since the early days, although not consistently. I and my friends notice the quality of care you put into the plants and the consciousness that goes into your selections. The web site is beautiful. You are doing Great Work. I hope you keep it up. You are not casting pearls before swine, you are providing a valuable service and influencing the noosphere.

Hello Andy!
I just read your request for feedback on your website. First off I would like to thank you for the work you put into the "Basement Shaman".I performed my first vision quest at age 18 and have stayed active in shamanism well into my mid fiftys. I have worked with sick and dying relatives between the several spinal surgerys I've had in the last half dozen years, lost my job in 2001 and now I work on healing myself as my last surgery ended poorly leaving me with a degenerative nerve disease and chronic pain. I have now found limited relief and guidance through the plant spirit helpers and have much yet to learn. Don't despair my friend, you provide a valuable worthwhile service in just being here!
You have created a first class web site and maintain a sincere and mature business approach. Thanks again for your efforts and keep up the excellent work,
Sincerely,
Paco

I have visited this site a few times, and see it as a valuable resource in the near future, so please don't go anywhere. I live in a small town in Texas where there are no resources for people like me who are aspiring Shamans. Stay with your original purpose and intentions, I believe it is a positive thing.
Sincerely,
Stephen Riggs

Pres.Bush can blow up the twin towers, murder a few thousand innocent people and get away with it while
possesion of Salvia D. will
send me to jail? What the F**k? Andy, I became an avid student of shamanism and ethnobotany in the mid
80's after reading the Teachings of don Juan.A
friend gave me a copy of an
...of the jungle catalog in
94,it was my bible until it
was destroyed by a friends
dog. I'd kill for another one. Basement Shaman is not only a legitimate ethno-entheo supplier, but the best in the business.
Please keep providing the
holy goods and services for us(the students of spiritual medicine).

thank you for not throwing in the towel. it wasnt until recently that i had delved into psychoactives as a shamanic journey and i am so grateful that i found your website and blog. i intend to make use of them alot since they are clearly a great resource and tool for information and supplies. thank you!

wow this is crazy, how many wars on different items, thoughts and ideas are there going to be. The one commenter said it best " Pres.Bush can blow up the twin towers, murder a few thousand innocent people and get away with it while
possesion of Salvia D. will
send me to jail? What the F**k? Where are we going? What's next, Thought Police? seems like troubled timesahead, what a shame. All this playing around with peoples lives as if though it were a game.
I have been an aspiring Shamman as well as a friend of mine, who is very injured and working to heal themself again. Not as easy when you have all this grief but only the Holy are hassled and the evil do the hassling
Andy-Peace to you
